Colin Todd is happy to be placed in the firing line by supporters.

Todd and his assistant Bobby Davison will be put on the spot at a fans' forum organised by the Bradford City Independent Supporters Club.

City's management duo are looking forward to the chance to speak directly with the supporters after a season that saw the club record a top-half finish for the first time since the Premiership promotion campaign six years ago.

Todd said: "I've done these sort of events on many occasion and it's not a problem.

"I'm sure the fans will see that we've shown good appetite and a good desire to try to take the club forward. Progress has been made."

City were unable to say goodbye to their fans after the final game at Oldham because of the pitch invasion by relieved home supporters.

But Todd said the team are grateful for the backing they received over the season.

"I must apologise that we couldn't go out there and acknowledge them because of circumstances. The home supporters were on the pitch and we couldn't hang around to make our way over to our fans.

"But they have played their part in a season which has been encouraging and I'd like to thank them on behalf of the players."

The forum takes place in the Sunwin Stand banqueting suite on Thursday (May 12) and will follow a Question Time format. Written questions will be taken before the start.

The doors open at 7.30pm with the question and answer session due to begin half an hour later. Admission is £1.50 but BCISC members are free.

Supporters unable to make it can still listen in to a live broadcast on the club's web-site on www.bradfordcity fc.co.uk.

l Another game has been added to Bradford City's pre-season fixture schedule with the news that Colin Todd will take the Bantams to play at Halifax Town on Saturday, July 16. Kick off at the Shay is at 3pm.

The City boss remains hopeful of getting a home game as replacement for the cancelled game with newly-promoted Wigan Athletic at Valley Parade on Tuesday, July 26.
