The official opening of a Bradford church’s new facilities will take place this month.
A new room has been created under the existing balcony at the west end of St Paul’s Church, Buttershaw.
The new space will provide a soundproof meeting room, seating up to 40 people and a kitchen and serving area for tea, coffee and simple catering.
The improvements also include new toilet facilities, meaning the congregation will no longer have to trek to the local school when they need the toilet.
The Reverend David Griffiths said: “It looks very good inside, the outside is not yet complete because of the poor weather.”
Bishop of Bradford, the Right Rev David James, is expected to be among the guests at the official opening on Sunday, March 21.
