These children were kept busy doing their bit to protect the environment by planting hundreds of trees in their corner of the district.
Teacher Shirley Layfield helped pupils at Baildon C of E Primary School taking part in the project.
Hundreds of trees have been planted by the school children to create a copse at the school.
Pupils braved the chilly conditions at the school, in Coverdale Way, to plant about 600 trees, predominantly of the hazel variety.
The area, which will add an extra dimension to the school’s science lessons, was planted with the help of Ian Butterfield, project manager of the Forest of Bradford. The scheme aims to plant one million trees in the district to boost bio-diversity and offset carbon emissions.
