All-conquering Albion Sports clinched their third trophy of the season with victory over AFC Pudsey in the Bradford Sunday Alliance Senior League Cup final.

An edge-of-the-box screamer from Steve Smith in the second period of extra-time proved the decisive strike in a 2-1 win.

Pudsey, making their first appearance in the final, took the lead in in the first half through Danny King's deflected goal.

Albion equalised when Taj Singh set up Aron Heywood, and the Albion striker - deputising for Stefan Zoll - finished coolly.

Keeper Aaron Brian made the save of the game from Pudsey's Danny Budge before Smith struck the winner, helped by the creativity of Jason Ryan - who was playing his fourth game in five days, and his third final.

The win completes another memorable season for Albion, who have also won the Sunday Alliance League Premier Division and the Bradford & District Cup, while narrowly missing out in the final of the national FA Sunday Cup last month.
