Fifty years ago, on Easter Monday, in April, 1955, this Keighley Central Youth Club 'A' team won the Keighley Youth Cup by defeating Eldwick and Gilstead by two goals to one at Strong Close Park, the Prince-Smith and Stells playing-fields.
The photograph has been supplied by Mr Jim Narey, of Harewood Road, Oakworth, who is the right-hand player on the back row.
He names his team-mates as Alan Wood, Norman Barton, Neil Creighton, Joe Lowe and Frank Bland at the back, and Roy Geldard, Joe Boland, Jim Murray, (?) Reddiough the captain, Bob Heaton and Ken Narey at the front.
R D Smith, the Central Youth Club leader, stands on the left, and trainer- manager Sid Smith on the right. The latter, Mr Narey recalls, "also ran the Youth Club choir".
According to the Keighley News at the time, it was Joe Lowe who gave Keighley the lead, followed by "a centre from Boland" which was "put into the net by K Narey".
Mr Narey points out that this team also won the Youth League trophy that same season -- "a unique double".
