Silsden Under-16s completed a fantastic treble with a 2-1 victory over Sandy Lane in the Craven Cup final.

They were able t add the trophy to the West Riding Junior Cup and the Craven League Under-16s league title, giving them an unprecedented array of trophies in one season for the Junior age group.

The in-form Thomas Dibb levelled the score after Sandy Lane took an early lead and the brilliant Adam McLean put away the winner. Ross Croad, Hamish Munro, Clark Greenwood and yet again the superb keeper, Dean Henderson, who made two saves out of the top drawer to retain Silsden's advantage in a tense cup final.

Sam Dowgill was man of the match.

The win came after they had clinched the league title with a 2-0 win over Sandy Lane who had been their main rivals throughout the season. Silsden got off to a great start when striker Andrew North headed the opening goal and they were unlucky not to go further ahead before half time.

Nathan Ramsden scored Silsden's second t give them a well deserved victory and make it the fifth year in succession that they have won their respective age group.

Ramsden was named man f the match and other good performances came from Dean Henderson, Liam Hodgson and Lee McGowan.
