More than 300 fake DVDs and CDs were seized by police after a man was stopped and searched by officers on patrol in the Horton area of Bradford.

A man carrying two large bags containing counterfeit goods was stopped by two PCSOs and arrested on suspicion of copying for sale or hire articles infringing copyright.

His home was searched and counterfeit DVDs, blank DVDs and a computer tower capable of copying four DVDs at once were seized.

The man was interviewed and released on bail.

Inspector Darren Minton, who leads the Little Horton and Great Horton Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “The two PCSOs on patrol spotted someone acting suspiciously and quite correctly stopped him.”
