Characters from popular children’s stories inspired pupils at a Burley-in-Wharfedale school in a celebration of books.
A travelling book fair came to Ghyll Royd School, Greystone Manor, and pupils were invited to swap their school uniform for the day for the costume of a character from one of their favourite books.
Children picked out characters from books by Charles Dickens, Enid Blyton, and other favourites, and turned up at school in costume.
