Debut Theatre School is searching for a four-legged star for its latest production.
The Shipley-based organisation is staging The Wizard of Oz and wants a dog to play Dorothy’s canine companion, Toto.
“We’re looking for a small dog, preferably a Yorkshire Terrier or something like that,” said principal Jacqui Drake-Sweiss. “It would need to be well-behaved, good with children and able to be on stage. There are 60 children in the show.”
The Wizard of Oz runs at Guiseley Theatre from Tuesday, December 8, to Thursday, December 10. If you can help, or for tickets, call (0113) 2503874. Pictured are young performers Brooke Carroll, Abbie Hill, Angel Dudek, Ellie Grogan, Matthew Spalding, Molly Teasdale and Ruby Addison
