Traffic faced delays in Thornton Road, Bradford today when a diesel spillage occurred near the Esso petrol garage.
Police, who were called to the scene at 9.15am, said a large amount of diesel had spilled down the road towards the city centre and the road was temporarily blocked.
It is believed the fuel spilled from a lorry which was delivering it to the garage.
