A cashier at a petrol station was knocked to the floor during a robbery, police revealed.
When the cashier got up he found the attacker, whose face had been partially covered, had fled with money from the Shell petrol station in Bingley Road, Saltaire. Airedale and North Bradford CID particularly want to trace two women in the shop at the time.
The suspect was Asian or dark-skinned, about 6ft tall, between 30 and 45, wearing a thick green outdoor coat with a hood and a dark scarf covering his mouth and nose.
Police have said the cashier did not suffer any injuries and did not need hospital treatment.
The robbery occurred at about 4.15pm on Monday.
Detective Constable Chris Hakes, of Airedale and North Bradford CID, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who has information about this incident and particularly the two women.
“Anyone who saw someone fitting this description either leaving the store on foot or in a vehicle at about 4.15pm should also contact us on 0845 6060606 or Crimewatch on 0800 555111.”
