Nursery and reception children at Newhall Park Primary in Bierley, Bradford, were joined by their parents for the opening of a sculpture park in the school grounds.
The youngsters used natural materials such as twigs, feathers and leaves to create modern-art sculptures for the display, which celebrates the outdoors.
Nursery teacher Catherine Stewart said: “We wanted to get them outdoors and working with natural materials.
“The school grounds are quite large so they were able to look around at different things.
“They were really proud of their work and what they achieved.”
