Rail commuters suffered delays today on the line between Bradford and Rochdale.
Transport authority Metro said buses were replacing trains between Hebden Bridge and Rochdale due to flooding in the Smithy Bridge area.
It was believed some journeys could have been delayed by up to 45 minutes.
A Northern Rail spokesman said the Tarnforth to Keighley line had also been affected by flooding.
He said flooding near Cononley Park and at Hellifield and Wennington had caused problems on the line.
Meanwhile, the Environment Agency issued a flood warning for businesses and property at Broughton Business Park, near Skipton.
