Christmas traditions from years gone by will be explored in a new exhibition.
Christmas Past, which opens on Saturday at Red House Museum in Gomersal, will include Victorian and Edwardian cards, children’s toys from the past and 1950s and 1960s trimmings and decorations.
From Wednesday, December 16, to Sunday, December 20, visitors will be able to walk through period rooms decked in traditional evergreens and take part in activities and demonstrations.
The exhibition will run until Sunday, January 10, but will be closed from December 24 to 26 and on January 1. Opening times are Monday to Friday 11am to 5pm, Saturday and Sunday noon to 5pm.
