More than 60 young people took to the football pitch for a five-a-side tournament held in Bradford to kick racism out of football.
Eight teams of under 18 players from across Bradford district took part in the competition at the Manningham Sports Centre in Carlisle Road.
It was part of the Manningham Youth Project’s Kick It Out scheme to educate people from all backgrounds about racism.
Winning teams were presented with trophies and there was a free football for everyone who took part.
West Yorkshire Police officers also attended.
Organiser Mustaq Hussain, a volunteer co-ordinator for the project, said: “It went really well. There was the football and workshops about racism and it was good to have the police there.
“We hope to do something like this again to improve race relations in the city.”
