Detectives are investigating two shootings in the city today.
In the first incident the victim was a 33-year-old Oldham man outside a curry house in Leeds Road.
It happened at 1.30am, and police sealed off the top part of the street from Thornbury Road down to the section with Killinghall Road so forensics can be carried out.
The road is likely to be shut all day.
Then just before 4am, a young clubber, believed to be local, was shot outside the Cube nightclub in Ivegate.
There were hundreds of clubbers about at the time and police have been speaking to witnesses. That area has also now been taped off.
Detectives from the Homicide Major Investigations Unit are working with Bradford divisional CID officers to investigate.
A police spokesman said the two shootings were not linked.
He said both men, who were shot in the torso, were being treated at Bradford Royal Infirmary. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
