Mother and daughter team, Jennie Webster, as Fairy Nuff, and Jo Clayton, as the Wicked Witch, will be fighting it out on stage this December.

The Burley Millennium Theatre Group’s pantomime, Babes in the Wood, provides the classic opportunity for good to overcome evil.

The cast of 20 will be augmented by 28 children from the Performance Drama School who are performing for the first time in front of a paying audience.

The pantomime will be directed by Tony Wade and will include live music from Tony Clegg.

There is the expected contrived plot and of course audience participation. The ugly part of the pantomime will be played by John Wise as the Sheriff.

Performances are in the Queen’s Hall, Burley-in-Wharfedale, from Tuesday, December 2, to Saturday, December 5, with a matinee on the final Saturday. To book, call Sue on (01943) 863478.
