A woman had to be taken to hospital suffering from head injuries after she was in collision with a silver Vauxhall Corsa in Hall Ings, Bradford, this afternoon.
Police closed part of the road outside the Hilton Hotel following the accident at about 4pm.
Sergeant Darrell Paine, of Bradford South Police, said the woman, 74, had been crossing Hall Ings at the traffic lights near the junction with Bridge Street.
The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene before she was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary where her condition has been described as 'stable'.
