Businesswomen in Bradford were urged to become role models by Yorkshire-born entrepreneur Claire Young.
The Apprentice runner-up spoke to around 80 businesswomen at a lunch held by Bradford Chamber of Commerce at the Dubrovnik hotel.
Claire, 30, who attended Wakefield Grammar School, turned down jobs with Apprentice host and business magnate Sir Alan Sugar and former Birmingham City football club boss Karen Brady before setting up her own business, Elegant venues.
She said entrepreneurs and professionals should be role models for young people.
There are still tickets available for the Chamber’s annual dinner at Bradford’s Cedar Court hotel on Friday November 20. For details call (01274) 354757.
