A Bradford community centre hosted a money management workshop yesterday.
Using cut-out cardboard characters to help people understand safe borrowing methods and avoid financial fraud, the Barclays Money Skills workshop, in partnership with West Yorkshire Trading Standards, was held at the Gateway Community Centre, Ravenscliffe.
Graham Hebblethwaite, West Yorkshire’s chief Trading Standards officer, said: “At Trading Standards we know only too well how poor financial knowledge can impact on consumers’ lives.”
