Drug-dealing and prostitution are the biggest crime concerns of Manningham and Toller residents, a police poll has revealed.
The Manningham and Toller Neighbourhood Policing Team asked 430 residents what their main issues were. Also revealed to be of concern in the area were teenagers on the streets, inconvenient and illegal parking and boy racers.
The team is now putting together a three-month action plan to deal with the issues, to begin in November.
The survey also showed 72 per cent of people thought police understood the issues affecting the neighbourhood and 75 per cent believed police were doing quite well or very well at reducing antisocial behaviour.
NPT Inspector Steve Dodds said: “I am committed to listening to the views of the local community and to tackling those issues that they feel are the most important.”
