The National Lottery is providing funding for anyone who served in World War Two to return to the scene of their participation.

You do not need to be in an association and you can take a helper with you, a wife or relative or carer. I know of three people who have already booked. One is going with his son to Malta where he spent time in hospital. A sum of £1,400 was made available for them to book an all-inclusve four-star hotel in Sliema.

Just telephone the veterans Agency on 0800 169 2277 and ask for an application pack for Heroes Return 2. Over £3,000 is given to revisit Singapore or the Railway in Thailand – so let your finger do the booking!
