A 79-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road accident.
The accident happened in Bradford Road, Clayton. The woman was last night described as being in a stable condition by police.
Police closed part of the road at about 3.40pm on Friday after the woman’s mobility scooter was involved in a collision with a Renault patient transporter.
She was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said she remained in a stable condition.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses, or anyone with any information, to contact PC Dave Long, at Airedale and North Bradford Roads Policing Unit, on 0845 6060606.
