One of Ilkley’s top arts venues is throwing a Grand Bash to set the stage for a £150,000 building and development project.
Ilkley Playhouse, in Wes-ton Road, hopes to ‘raise a grand’ at the event on Satur-day, September 26, towards the major scheme to expand its main auditorium.
Tickets have gone on sale for the Bash, the opening event of a series of fundraising initiatives in aid of the Wharfeside Development Project. The plan is to expand the main 144-seat Wharfeside Theatre to seat 180, improving sight lines and facilities.
The Bash will run from 8pm to late on September 26, with entertainment from local band Relative, a disco, home-grown cabaret acts, plus buffet supper and a bar.
A free ticket is included in the ticket price of £20 per person. Tickets are available from the Playhouse box office.
