A man was taken to hospital suffering from hypothermia after falling 20ft into the River Worth in Keighley.
Bingley and Keighley firefighters were called to Gresley Road, at 3.39pm on Friday where the man was stuck in 3ft of water.
Crew manager Clive Hedges, of Bingley, where the water rescue unit is based, said the man was in a state of distress.
He said: “The rescue was very quick – hypothermia was setting in, that’s why we had to get him out of the water quickly, making sure he had no other injuries as well.”
