An investigation has begun after fire tore through a house in Haworth.
A group of young people managed to escape from the end terrace home in Albert Street, after the blaze started in an upstairs bedroom at 1.05am today.
Flames could be seen pouring from the upstairs bedroom window and firefighters from Keighley and a retained crew from Haworth used hose jets to put out the fire.
They checked inside the building using specialist breathing apparatus but everyone had managed to get out.
The blaze destroyed the bedroom and flames spread to the roof.
Firefighters spent about an hour putting it out. There was extensive smoke damage to the upstairs of the house.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was unclear how the fire started.
But he said that there had been a "disturbance" be-forehand.
Police also attended at the scene.
