Fundraisers at Marie Curie are appealing for volunteers to help make March’s Great Daffodil Appeal the best yet.
The charity does not have enough volunteers to fill all time slots for collections in supermarkets and on the streets.
Brenda Doyle, fundraising manager at Bradford’s Marie Curie Hospice in Maudsley Street, said: “It is so frustrating when we see how much we could have raised if we can’t fill a collection.
“If we recruit enough volunteers we can raise hundreds of pounds at each collection.”
If you can help by donating a couple of hours or by organising a collection contact Brenda on (01274) 337035.
