Five cyclists with a spirit of adventure are wanted to help disabled youngsters get saddled up.
They are wanted to join a team of cyclists riding coast to coast to help raise money to start a new cycling club for people with learning or physical disabilities.
More than a dozen riders will travel from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Sunderland from May 14 to 17.
The cycling team dubbed ‘The Hammsters’ have already ridden twice from Bradford to its twin town of Hamm in Germany.
The rides raised money for Bradford Disability Sports and Leisure, which runs activity clubs in Keighley.
While on last year’s marathon cycle the cyclists suggested the charity start a cycling group.
Barry Thorne, funding officer with BDSL, said there was space on the coast-to-coast ride for five more cyclists.
Potential participants need to be able to raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship.
