Police have named the Bradford mother killed in a road collision near Harrogate last week as Diane Nicole Scott.
An inquest was opened and adjourned into the death of the 44-year-old, of Holme Wood Road, Holme Wood, Bradford, this morning by North Yorkshire Coroner Geoffrey Fell.
She had been travelling with her daughter along the A658 near Kirby Overblow on Tuesday, February 10, when her Suzuki Vitara was in collision with an Audi sports car.
She was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary after the collision, where she later died.
Her ten-year-old daughter was taken to hospital but was later discharged.
The driver of the Audi suffered minor injuries in the crash, which happened close to the junction with the A61 at 7.30am.
A 57-year-old man, from Leeds, who was arrested in connection with the collision, has been released on police bail while inquiries continue.
