Police hunting a man jailed for five years in his absence for robbery have made an arrest.
A 22-year-old man was held after police stopped a car in Stanningley Road, Pudsey, which had been reported as stolen in a burglary.
The man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, dangerous driving and possession of drugs and was last night in custody.
Last month officers issued an appeal for information to trace Terrence Honey, 22, originally of Holbeck, Leeds, who was sentenced to five years in his absence in November last year for his part in a robbery where an Audi RS4 was stolen from a man in Rosebank Gardens, Burley, in July 2008.
Police had received sightings of him in the Bradford area and he was believed to have been staying in Bierley.
