My great-auntie Nancy Wood is 93 and lives at Morrell Court, Holme Wood. As she doesn’t get out much, she enjoys her television and newspapers.
A few weeks ago you had an article on clippies which really interested her as she was one from June, 1941, to November, 1946. She then went back in 1953 until 1958. Her route was Manningham Lane and she worked on the first trip and the last.
My auntie wanted me to write to say, yes, there are other clippies who worked then, and this one has many tales to tell.
