Shots were fired during an arrest by undercover police in Bradford today, according to reports.
The window of a black Audi was smashed during the arrest of a man in Shearbridge Road at lunchtime.
A businessman who works in Shearbridge Road, said his business partner was caught up in the middle of the operation.
He said his colleague was given shouted commands by a police officer to 'come through, come through' after at least two shots were fired at the Audi A6.
"I walked over to see about ten plain-clothes armed officers with police caps on standing around the man sitting on the floor at the back of the car with his hands tied behind his back," said the witness.
"The driver's door glass had been smashed, presumably by the shots. I couldn't see if anyone had been hit but there was no ambulance so I presume no one was."
