A man caught packaging heroin for his brother has been spared a jail sentence for drug dealing.
Police found 112 wraps of the Class A drug, with a street value of almost £1,000, when they raided Zubair Akram’s home in Walden Drive, Chellow Grange, Bradford.
Akram, 24, admitted possessing heroin with intent to supply on May 17 last year.
Bradford Crown Court heard he helped his brother, who is still at large, to package the drug on one occasion.
Akram was sentenced to a community order for 18 months with supervision and 100 hours of unpaid work.
