The former general secretary of a Silsden charity has completed a mammoth fundraising bike ride.
John Peet spent 34 days visiting L’Arche communities across Britain, clocking up more than 1,700 miles.
L’Arche communities are for people with learning difficulties and are situated across the country.
His venture has so far raised just over £11,000 but money is still coming in. The cash will support L’Arche work in Zimbabwe and two new projects in the UK.
John set off from Silsden on his bike ride on June 1 and visited communities in Scotland, Wales and England. He finished in Kent.
