Police have identified the man who was found dead in a Bradford house on Tuesday.

Denis Brook, 62, was found in a house in Undercliffe Street, Pollard Park after paramedics who were called to the property raised the alarm. Police arrested a 40-year-old man a short time later.

He was last night charged with murder and was due to appear before Bradford Magistrate’s today.

On Wednesday a post-mortem examination was being carried out to establish how Mr Brook died.

Police community support officers were manning a cordon outside the house on Wednesday.

The cordon was set up to block off a square zone at the bottom of Undercliffe Street and around the corner into Hustler Street.

The police investigation has been handled by Detective Superintendent Andy Brennan of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team at West Yorkshire Police.
