An elderly woman had to be treated by the fire service after inhaling smoke when a fire started in her kitchen.
Odsal firefighters were called the house in Eden Close, Wyke, at 12.19pm today.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said the woman was given oxygen therapy by fire service personnel.
Paramedics also attended but the casualty did not need hospital treatment.
