POLICE say a vehicle was recorded travelling at nearly 100mph on the A65 at Settle.
North Yorkshire Police's traffic bureau was deployed to the Yorkshire Dales road following a recent serious road traffic collision.
A spokesperson said one vehicle was clocked at 96mph in a 60mph zone on Saturday.
The driver will receive a court summons.
