Almost 500 Easter eggs have been distributed to 10 different charities thanks to a Bradford choir.

The All Together Now Choir received a whopping 491 Easter egg donations.

Every egg will be enjoyed by users at children's charities across the area.

Charity committee member Pam took some eggs to St Hugh's Centre, Baildon, taking the pressure of the parents and carers they support.

Eggs were given to three hospital trusts including Harrogate, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, and Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust.

At Martin House, the hospice's fundraising co-ordinator Jodie thanked the choir for making a difference to children's lives.

The choir also supported Candlelighters, a charity which supports Yorkshire children with cancer, and New Beginnings, which supports families and children who have suffered domestic violence.

Other recipients included Keighley and Bradford's Staying Put and the Skipton, Shipley and Bradford branches of Carers Resource.

Reacting to the charity feat, musical director Chris Kemp said: "I am truly lost for words."
