A ROAD in Bradford was closed by police after a crash.

The collision happened on Hollingwood Lane, between its junctions with Hollybank Road and Hollingwood Mount.

This was causing heavy traffic in the area but the road reopened at 4.16pm.

First West Yorkshire posted on X, formerly Twitter, at 3.33pm to announce its 614 service would be diverting due to a crash and police closing the road.

It was diverting via Great Horton Road and avoiding Hollingwood Lane and Bartle Lane.

The 614 operates between Shipley Market Square and Cooper Lane and Reevy Road West.

The Telegraph & Argus has contacted West Yorkshire Police for details.
