Says Ken Woods, co-founder of Trapezium Gallery: “While it is great to see Bradford represented at its best, it is even better to see it represented by the people who live here and know it well.”

Joyce Simpson, who speaks on behalf of the group says: “Bingley Camera Club are a group of enthusiastic hobby photographers who meet every week in Bingley, and have done since 1951.

“Our motto is ‘Growing Local Photographers’, and we support the development of our members skills through our shared love of photography.

“The exhibition features a range of perspectives and styles, reflecting the many different photographers who have contributed, from beginners to accomplished photographers.

“The photographs show the diverse landscapes, built environment, events and what people get up to. Most of all this is a celebration of the Bradford District, told by members of the community.

“The exhibition showcases 60 framed images with a further 100 images displayed on a large screen within the gallery.

“There are also a colourful array of images depicting some of the many events and celebrations that happen throughout the year, plus many more images that celebrate the district.”
