SUNNIER weather is here and many people's thoughts are turning towards getting away over spring and summer.
With that in mind, we asked our followers on our Facebook page where they would recommend to visit for a holiday in beautiful Yorkshire.
We received hundreds of responses - and here is a selection of your suggestions.
Paul Wilkinson: Bradford, the City of Culture 2025!
Asif Chef Shakoor: I'd bring them to the city that offers the best food in the country which is Bradford. We are also known as the City of Film so I'd take them to the National Media Museum. I’d also take them to Manningham Park and we'd also go to places like Bolton Abbey, Malham, Ingleton and Ilkley.
Carole Wilson: Haworth obviously - beautiful place.
Haworth and Yorkshire Creatives: Haworth, Hebden Bridge, Halifax, Saltaire, Skipton, York.
Amanda Parizo: I'm from America and I love visiting York, it's absolutely the perfect city with history, atmosphere and great food.
Ian Westman: For a city break Leeds, Harrogate or York. For a seaside holiday Scarborough, Filey or Whitby.
Brenda Baines: Yorkshire Dales.
Julie Chadwick: Beverley without a doubt.
Asaf Hussain: Lots of places... Too many to mention!
