YOUNGSTERS can now take part in Little Voices performing arts lessons at Skipton Town Hall.

Weekly, after school classes are for children and young people aged 4-18 and are aimed at helping to nurture their communication, confidence, and social skills, as well as their performing abilities, through a programme of singing and drama lessons.

Principal, Becky Ewins, went to Skipton Girls High School, where she enjoyed music, drama and public speaking, before going on to study music and primary education at university.

She said: “Pursuing a career as a teacher, with a specialism of music, was a natural choice for me: as well as sharing my passion for the arts, I consider nurturing others, and watching them grow and develop in confidence, to be a huge honour.”

Little Voices classes will run at Skipton Town Hall on Mondays after school. Numbers are limited, and places must be pre-booked, for more information, contact Becky on 07872 945299 or visit the website https://littlevoices.org.uk/skipton .
