Two men were arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and abstracting electricity.

The police spokesperson said: "Their housing provider has been notified so eviction proceedings can commence.

"The electrics will be made safe for the surrounding addresses and the drugs removed before we hand control of the address back to the housing provider.

"The males will be released under investigation while we examine their phones and carry out forensic tests."

Police said they subsequently attended another property and arrested another man on suspicion of production of cannabis.

"While searching his address, a quantity of Class A drugs, drugs packaging and mobile phones were seized," the force spokesperson added.

"This male will be interviewed later."
