US BAND Korn is joining the sensational line-up for Live at The Piece Hall 2024, it has been announced this morning.

The nu-metal band - which gave the world anthems including Freak On A Leash, Blind, Falling Away From Me, and Here To Stay - will headline the Halifax gig on August 9. 

Korn will be joined on the night by special guests Loathe.

Tickets will go on sale from 10am on Friday at: ticketmaster.co.uk.

Korn join Tom Jones, Nile Rodgers and CHIC, Sheryl Crow, Underworld, Rick Astley, Jess Glynne, Fatboy Slim, PJ Harvey, Underworld, Tom Odell, Pixies, IDLES, Richard Ashcroft, McFly, Loyle Carner and Status Quo among the headliners for Live at The Piece Hall 2024 – with many more to be announced.

Nicky Chance-Thompson, chief executive of The Piece Hall Trust, said: "I wasn't sure the courtyard could get any wilder after some of last year's explosive shows – but if anyone can equal that energy it's this band.

"I can't wait to see fans going crazy to the true pioneers of that alt-metal sound loved by so many. Halifax, get ready to rock!”

Since forming in California in 1993, Korn has sold 40 million albums worldwide.

The band has continued to push the limits of the rock, alternative and metal genres.
