Well you’re in luck, as Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced a “significant” expansion of their Italian programmes, including flights to two dreamy locations from Leeds Bradford Airport.

It comes as thousands of extra seats will be going on sale to Sardinia, Sicily and Verona across both summer 2024 and 2025 in response to demand for “La Dolce Vita” from Jet2 customers.

Eager travellers will be delighted to find out they will be able to travel to Verona and Sicily from Leeds Bradford Airport as part of this programme increase.

Jet2 expands Italian flight programmes at 8 UK airports

The airline has added capacity to three Italian holiday hotspots from across eight UK airports, giving customers and independent travel agents even more choice.

Around 20,000 outbound seats have been added in total. The additional flights and holidays on sale at each of the following UK airports are:

  • Belfast International – Verona (September 2025)
  • Birmingham – Sicily (April and November 2025, Sardinia (April, May 2025), Verona (April, May 2025)
  • East Midlands – Verona (October 2024 and 2025).
  • Edinburgh – Verona (October 2024, April 2025, October 2025) and Sicily (April 2025)
  • Leeds Bradford – Verona (October 2024 and 2025).
  • Manchester – Sicily (November 2024 and 2025), Sardinia (September/October/November 2024, April/May 2025 and September/October 2025) and Verona (April 2025).
  • Newcastle International – Verona (October 2024 and 2025).
  • London Stansted – Sicily (October 2024, October 2025 and November 2025) and Sardinia (November 2024 and April/May 2025).

The expansion means the companies are extending the summer season in response to "strong demand", as well as adding flights and holidays during popular periods, such as late summer 2024 and Easter 2025.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have put more flights on sale in October 2024 to Verona from Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle International Airports.

For summer 2025, a series of additional April flights have been also put on sale to Sicily from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford and London Stansted.

With holidaymakers looking to enjoy late summer in Verona and Lake Garda, Jet2 has responded by adding more September/October 2025 flights from Belfast International, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle International.
