A ROAD is closed this morning due to a serious crash.
The A59 between Skibeden roundabout, on the outskirts of Skipton, and Bolton Abbey is currently blocked off.

Police are urging motorists to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.
The force's traffic bureau posted at 7.35am today (Thursday): "The road is expected to be closed for a number of hours. Please avoid the area."
