AS THE golf season swings into life, here's a shot of Bingley St Ives Golf Club looking back at the clubhouse down the first fairway.
The club is listed among the country's top spots to play the game, appearing in top100golfcourses.com, and looking at this picture you can see why.
The club was formed in 1931, initially featuring a nine-hole course. The layout was expanded to 18 holes in 1934, laid out in an unusual single loop formation.
From the clubhouse, the course leads players through parkland, woodland and moorland before returning again to the clubhouse.
