THERE'S comedy and gritty drama coming to Skipton Town Hall next month.

Skipton Comedy Live on Friday, March 3 features MC Colin Manford; Aaron Simmonds, Steffan Peddie and Jack Carroll. Presented by Plane Comedy, the monthly adult show features some of the best stand-up the UK has to offer.

The Blue Badge Bunch on March 9 is all about the disability ‘Taskmaster’!” - a comedy gameshow for all, where each game represents a different disability.

Hosted by comedian Benny Shakes, a panel of comics battle it out to come up trumps, in a show where disadvantage is an advantage.

On Saturday, March 11, Skipton actor, director and writer, Clementine Bogg-Hargroves is back on home turf for the tour finale of her one-woman hit show Skank.

Skank is about a woman in crisis. Writer and performer Clementine delivers a character study about health anxiety, job dissatisfaction, and looking for love. The award winning show has been described as a 'painfully accurate slice of life', a 'gem' and was the Times Critics Choice Edinburgh Fringe 2021.

Up the Road Theatre's Beneath the Banner on March 25 has been created partly from the words of former miners and their families and shines a light on the untold and unseen stories of coalmining communities, from fireside to pit bottom.

Up The Road Theatre, based in Kent, makes new theatre that explores literature, culture and history in a way that is accessible and engaging to audiences.
