A West Yorkshire international construction and management consultancy has appointed ist first company secretary.
David Belmont, a former Company Secretary Of The Year, has joined Horsforth-based Turner & Townsend , His appointment is in preparation for Turner & Townsend's planned listing on the London Stock Exchange.
Chairman Tim Wray said: "Dave joins at an exciting time and I am sure he will bring a great deal of added value to the organisation, both before and after our flotation."
David's wealth of experience has been recognised in a number of different areas, notably in 2007 when he was awarded Pension Scheme of the Year for his work at CODA.
David said, "I have always worked at profitable, well-managed, expanding companies, and so I am delighted to join Turner & Townsend."
