A pensioner seemed to recover from the beginnings of an epileptic fit but died of heart failure a short time later, an inquest heard.
Anthony Martin, 64, was known to staff where he lived at Links Nursing Home in Bradford Moor, as having a history of epilepsy, schizophrenia and hypertension.
The inquest at Bradford Coroner's Court today heard that Mr Martin had a convulsion but settled down to eat his dinner before his heart failed.
Assistant Deputy Coroner Paul Marks recorded a verdict of natural causes. He confirmed the medical cause of death was ischaemia and hypertensive heart disease.
